An invitation to support community-led care, dignity, and justice
Right now, we’re work to raise $10,000 to support justice-centered, community-led work happening in partnership with Testimony Ministries, ARC, Dream Center, Iglesias El Nuevo Nacimiento, Oil Fields Ministries and IIM Church and Community Heroes among others.
These funds will support:
Care packages for people experiencing homelessness and returning from incarceration
Stipends for unhoused workers contributing their labor
Stipends for youth storytellers participating in our Community Heroes project
Holiday events, where we provide gifts and food in collaboration with community partners
Staffing support to ensure this work is carried out with consistency and care
This fundraising effort is part of a larger funding strategy, including active grant seeking. Individual giving during this season allows us to continue the work without interruption and strengthens our ability to secure long-term, institutional support.
At its heart, this work is not charity — it’s about social justice, dignity, fair compensation, and collective care. Your contributions will support young people helping craft stories of resilience and service in their own communities. Through our partnerships with Testimony Ministries and ARC we provide care packages and resources for individuals and families impacted by incarceration. Through our partners Oil Fields and Iglesias El Nuevo Nacimiento, we work to provide food and resources to the unhoused, migrants and low income families in Downtown Los Angeles and through IIM Church and the Dream Center, we collaborate around holiday events to ensure families and individuals experience care, abundance, and belonging during times that can otherwise feel isolating.
Here’s how support can make an impact:
$25 supports a care package or holiday meal
$100 contributes to a worker or youth storyteller stipend
$250–$500 supports staffing and program coordination
$1,000 helps anchor this collaborative work during this funding season
Our goal is to raise $10,000 by April 1st
